It’s on to basketball.
The advent of the XFL this weekend might keep the football season alive for some, but most players will simply move on.
They’ll focus on basketball and maybe hockey and hope to find some winners there.
On Sunday, DraftKings is helping the cause with a promotion that will boost the odds if the Sixers, Grizzlies and Knicks all win.
On Saturday, there’s a healthy schedule of hockey and college hoops to help you forget about football. And just in case you happen to be wagering, we’ll provide a rundown of all the action – along with some of the spreads from your favorite PA online sportsbooks – in this week’s installment of Penn Sportsbooks Pick Play.
Penguins at Panthers: 2/8, 7 p.m.
With the NFL season officially over, some players will take a more serious interest in hockey. In Pennsylvania, the Penguins will draw some attention.
Pittsburgh (33-14-5) has had a solid season thus far with 71 points to date. On Saturday, the Penguins face Florida (29-17-6), which also has a winning record and 64 points.
