NFL Divisional Round offers betting opportunities at PA sportsbooks

Pick Play: FanDuel Offering Blown Lead Insurance For NFL Divisional Round Bets

College football is down to two. The NFL has eight teams left.

And as the games dwindle every week, the stakes become even bigger. The NFL’s Divisional Round kicks off on Saturday. College football’s national champion will be crowned on Monday.

The games themselves will be filled with action, intensity, and all the drama that fits in four quarters. And for those with wagers on the line, everything will matter even more.

In this week’s installment of Penn Sportsbooks Pick Play, we’ll cover the college football national championship, the NFL divisional round, and all the corresponding odds and promos at your nearest online Pennsylvania sportsbook.

Let’s start with the game that the Tigers can’t lose.

Clemson vs. LSU (-5.5): 1/13 at 8 p.m.

Although both teams share the same mascot (Tigers), oddsmakers view LSU as the better version. LSU should also benefit from a healthy home-field advantage with the game being played at the Superdome in New Orleans. FanDuel Sportsbook has LSU at -225 on the moneyline. Clemson is +180.

The game’s over/under is set at 69.5 points. FanDuel is also offering a promotion for the title game. Anyone who makes a winning bet of $25 or more against the spread, will earn $5 for every touchdown their team scores (up to $25).

DraftKings has also boosted some national championship odds to entice players into the action, including the following:

  • Clemson to score first parlayed with over 69.5 has been boosted to +760.
  • LSU scoring first parlayed with the over has been boosted to +365.
  • Quarterbacks Trevor Lawrence and Joe Burrow to record over 6.5 passing touchdowns combined has been boosted to +140.

BetRivers has posted a lengthy list of alternate spreads and totals for the game as well. And those looking for live betting should have plenty of options when the game kicks off Monday night.

Vikings at 49ers (-7): 1/11 at 4:35 p.m.

Minnesota will hit the road again in hopes of recording a second straight upset. Last week, the Vikings rewarded those with Minnesota moneyline bets by shocking the Saints in New Orleans.

BetRivers has more than 150 bets for the first NFL game on Saturday. San Francisco is -315 on the moneyline, while the Vikings are +245. The game’s total is set at 44 points.

FanDuel has an array of player props and individual team totals as well. The Vikings number is set at 19.5. The 49ers total is set at 26.

Saturday’s game will be broadcast nationally on NBC.

Titans at Ravens (-9.5): 1/11 at 8:15 p.m.

Tennessee seemed to surprise everyone by beating Tom Brady and the Patriots in New England last week. Now, the Titans will take aim at the NFL’s leading MVP candidate, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.

PlaySugarHouse has Baltimore at -455 on the moneyline, while Tennessee is +340. The game’s over/under has been posted at 46.5. SugarHouse has a number of alternate odds available, as well as player props and other scoring-related wagers.

FanDuel is also offering a Blown Lead promotion for all the NFL games. Players who make a moneyline wager on any of the games can earn up to $50 back in site credit if their selected team leads after any quarter (1st, 2nd, 3rd) but loses the game. There should also be numerous opportunities for in-game betting once the action kicks off.

Titans/Ravens will be broadcast Saturday night on CBS.

Texans at Chiefs (-9.5): 1/12 at 3:05 p.m.

Houston needed overtime to beat the Bills at home last week. Now, they’ll hit the road to take on the high-powered Chiefs. At press time, Sunday’s weather forecast in Kansas City was calling for partly cloudy skies with a high of 38 degrees.

DraftKings Sportsbook has Kansas City as -435 on the moneyline. Houston is +360. The game’s total is set at 51 points.

BetRivers also has first quarter and first half bets posted for those seeking more immediate returns.

This game will also be broadcast on CBS.

Seahawks at Packers (-4.5): 1/12 at 6:40 p.m.

This game will be broadcast nationally on Fox, making it a perfect candidate for some synergy with FOX Bet odds. FOX Bet has more than 80 wagers posted for the last game of the NFL weekend.

Green Bay is -212 on the moneyline, while Seattle is +175. The game’s over/under is set at 47 points and there are a number of player props posted as well, including odds on the first touchdown scorer. (Packers running back Aaron Jones leads the way at +450).

FOX Bet is also offering prop bets on a wide variety of statistical categories in this game, giving players plenty of wagering options.

If you’re feeling lucky, a parlay of all five Pick Play games, would return more than $480 on a $20 bet.

Good luck and enjoy the games.
