PSB Pick Play: Steelers and Undefeated Duck Host Bills Sunday Night Football

They call it the pick play.

One player heads one way. Another crosses his path. The defense gets caught in traffic. And if all goes right, the offense puts up a few more points.

With football season winding down, our Pick 6 feature will be replaced by the PSB Pick Play, with a few other sports and a few fewer games getting previewed each week. As always, we’ll highlight the weekend’s best matchups and cover all the corresponding spreads at the best Pennsylvania sportsbooks.

We’re calling it the Pick Play. And this week’s installment features Army vs. Navy in the annual armed forces clash.

Bills at Steelers (-1): 12/15, 8:20 p.m.

The Steelers look to stay undefeated with backup quarterback Devlin Hodges, who also happens to be a champion duck caller. Hence, the nickname “Duck.”

Pittsburgh has also been heavily dependent on its defense during the win streak. On Sunday, the Steelers are –120 on the moneyline at BetRivers, while Buffalo is -103. The game’s total is set at 37 points. BetRivers has an impressive list of alternate totals and alternate spreads for those seeking different numbers.

Live betting options should also be readily available for this contest, which will be broadcast nationally on NBC.

Running back James Connor is set to return for the Steelers and he is +600 to score the game’s first touchdown. Buffalo running back Devin Singletary is also +600 on that same prop. Both players are listed with the same odds to score the game’s last touchdown as well. BetRivers also has numerous touchdown and scoring props available for those seeking additional action.

Army at Navy (-11): 12/14, 3 p.m.

The Midshipmen are 9-2 and headed to the Liberty Bowl after this weekend’s action. The Army Black Knights are 5-7 and will be playing in their last game of the season. FanDuel Sportsbook has Navy at -420 on the moneyline, while Army is +320. The over/under for the game is set at 40.5 points.

The game is being played at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field and will be broadcast on CBS. If you’re looking for faster returns on your bet, a number of sites are offering first half spreads as well. Navy is giving six points in the first half¬† and the first half total is 20 points . BetRivers is also offering a number of alternate game totals and alternate spreads for those seeking different numbers.

Eagles at Redskins (+4.5): 12/15, 1 p.m.

Philadelphia is on a short week after defeating the New York Giants in overtime Monday night. The Redskins are +170 on the moneyline while Philadelphia is -210 according to Parx Sportsbook. The game’s total is set at 40 points.

FanDuel Sportsbook has the total slightly lower (39.5). FanDuel also has individual team totals available for betting. Philadelphia’s number is set at 22 points. Washington’s is listed at 17.5. Players should also be able to place live bets on this contest at a number of sites on Sunday.

A parlay of our Pick Play games would pay out about $120 on a $20 bet.

Good luck and enjoy the games.
