In this week’s edition of Penn Sportsbooks’ Pick 6, we highlight the best games to pair with your Thanksgiving weekend, along with all the corresponding spreads at your local sportsbook.
We start this week with the Pittsburgh Steelers, who are hosting the Cleveland Browns two weeks after their Thursday Night melee.
Browns at Steelers (+2): 12/1, 1 p.m.
Their last game ended with a swinging helmet and a number of suspensions. This version will likely be hard-fought on the field, even if Browns defender Myles Garrett is suspended and quarterback Mason Rudolph is no longer starting. BetRivers has Pittsburgh as +107 on the moneyline, while the Browns are -130. Devlin Hodges will be under center for the Steelers after leading the team to a win last week in Cincinnati. The game’s total is set at 38.5. A number of alternate totals and other spreads are also available for those seeking different numbers.
Rutgers at Penn State (-40.5): 11/30, 3:30 p.m.
The Nittany Lions lost at Ohio State last Saturday and return to Happy Valley with what appears to be the weekend’s biggest spread. Penn State replaced starting quarterback Sean Clifford last week and he is reported to be a game-time decision this week. FanDuel Sportsbook has PSU with no moneyline considering the large spread. The game’s over/under is set at 49.5 points, suggesting very little offense is expected from the Scarlet Knights.
Eagles at Dolphins (+9): 12/1, 1 p.m.
Philadelphia is looking to get back on track after consecutive losses to the Patriots and Seahawks. The Dolphins are a sizable home underdog following a lopsided loss to the Browns last week. Parx Sportsbook has 108 wagers posted for the game to make things more interesting. The Eagles are -435 on the moneyline. The Dolphins are +325. The over/under for the game is set at 44.5 points. Parx also has a number of quarter, half, and touchdown props listed for those seeking additional action. Alternate spreads and totals are also available. A number of NFL games should be available for live betting Sunday.
Boston College at Pitt (-9.5): 11/30, 3:30 p.m.
The Panthers look to rebound from a disappointing loss at Virginia Tech last week in their home finale. Pitt is -345 at BetRivers, while Boston College is +270. The game’s total is set at 52 points. Parx Sportsbook has the same spreads posted for this game at press time.
Ohio State at Michigan (+9): 11/30, 12 p.m.
Rivalry games will round out this week’s edition, both of which have some promotions available. FanDuel Sportsbook has the Buckeyes at -330 on the moneyline following their home victory last week over Penn State. The Wolverines, who just beat upstart Indiana last week, are +255. The game’s total is 49 points. Ohio State’s over/under is set at 29 points. Michigan has a total of 20 points. FanDuel is also offering a close loss insurance promotion. Bettors can receive up to a $50 refund if they wager on the pre-live moneyline and then lose by six points or less.
Alabama at Auburn(+3): 11/30, 3:30 p.m.
The Iron Bowl carries a closer spread but a little less intrigue with Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa out with an injury. DraftKings Sportsbook has the Crimson Tide at -175 on the moneyline. Auburn is +140. The game’s over/under is set at 50 points. FanDuel has set Alabama’s team total at 26 points. Auburn’s number is 23 points. FanDuel is also offering close loss insurance for bettors on this game.
If you’re feeling lucky, a parlay of the Pick 6 games will pay out about $470 on a $10 bet.
Good luck and enjoy the games.
