Penn State will look to upset Ohio State on Saturday

Pick 6: Penn State Aims For Upset Of Undefeated Ohio State

Penn State will enter the year’s biggest game having looked lackluster in recent weeks. The Nittany Lions lost at Minnesota, then narrowly defeated Indiana (34-27) last week. But a win Saturday against undefeated Ohio State would change everything. An upset victory over the Buckeyes would plant Penn State firmly in the college playoff race, and the team would control its own destiny after that.

So Saturday’s game- which kicks off at noon EST in Columbus- is enormous. In this week’s edition of Penn Sportsbook’s Pick 6, we’ll cover all the odds of the PSU-OSU showdown, along with the rest of the region’s big games and their corresponding spreads at your local sportsbook.

Penn State at Ohio State (-18.5): 11/23, 12 p.m.

The Buckeyes have been lucky to beat the Nittany Lions the last two years, escaping with a pair of close comeback victories. Oddsmakers see this matchup quite differently, though. Ohio State is nearly a three-touchdown favorite in Saturday’s game, which will be broadcast on Fox. FanDuel Sportsbook has Penn State at +680 on the moneyline, offering substantial value for an upset. The Buckeyes are -1025. The game’s over/under is set at 57.5 points. Penn State’s team total is 19.5. Ohio State’s number is 38.5. FanDuel also offers a promotion featuring close loss insurance. If you make a pre-live moneyline bet on the Nittany Lions, you can receive a refund of up to $50 if they lose by six points or less.

Pitt at Virginia Tech (-4): 11/23, 3:30 p.m.

The Panthers meet the Hokies in a game that has huge implications in the ACC. Virginia Tech can win the ACC’s Coastal Division with two straight victories to end the regular season. BetRivers has Pitt as +155 underdogs in this game, which will air on ESPN2. Virginia Tech is favored to win at -195. The game has a total of 46.5 points. And for those looking for a little more fun in their wagers, Rivers has Pitt as +106 to score first, with Virginia Tech at -143.

Temple at Cincinnati (-10.5): 11/23, 7 p.m.

The 7-3 Owls are on the road against the 9-1 Bearcats, who are ranked No. 17 in the country. Cincinnati returns home after narrowly defeating South Florida 20-17 on a late field goal last week. Parx Sportsbook has 42 wagers posted for this primetime contest. The Bearcats are -420 on the moneyline, while Temple is +325. The game’s over/under is set at 46.5 points.

Oklahoma State at West Virginia (+7): 11/23, 12 p.m.

The Mountaineers are a touchdown underdog at home against the No. 22 Cowboys. Oklahoma State trounced Kansas 31-13 last week. West Virginia also won a week ago, posting a solid 24-20 victory over Kansas State. BetRivers has Oklahoma State as -265 on the moneyline. West Virginia is +205. The game has an over/under of 57 points and will be broadcast on ESPN2.

Steelers at Bengals (+6.5): 11/24, 1 p.m.

The Steelers have a few extra days rest before Sunday’s game, following their chaos-filled contest with the Browns last Thursday. Starting center Maurkice Pouncey is expected to miss the game for the Steelers due to a suspension following Thursday’s late-game fight. The Bengals are still winless and should bring some urgency into Sunday’s game. DraftKings Sportsbook has Pittsburgh as -315 on the moneyline. Cincinnati is +250. The game has a total of 39 points. DraftKings is also offering a 20% deposit bonus of up to $500 for players getting into the action on their site.

Seahawks at Eagles (-1.5):  11/24, 1 p.m.

PlaySugarHouse has the Eagles at -124 on the moneyline in Sunday’s showdown with the Seahawks. Seattle is +102. PlaySugarHouse has 110 wagers posted for the game, which will be broadcast on Fox. The game’s total is set at 48 points. There’s also an interesting bet available on the length of the game’s longest successful field goal. The over/under is listed at 45.5 yards, with the odds on each side, set at -115. There will also be live betting available for a number of Sunday’s NFL games.

If you’re feeling lucky, a parlay featuring all of the Pick 6 games would pay out about $465 on a $10 bet.

Good luck, and enjoy the games!
