Pick 6: Raise Your Glass To The World’s Largest Cocktail Party

The season is at a crossroads. Pennsylvania’s teams are too.

The Steelers are 3-4. The Eagles are 4-4. With the NFL season halfway over, teams are fighting for the playoff spots that are inching closer every week. And those with mediocre records are looking to find some momentum.

The Steelers were lackluster in a Monday Night win against Miami. However, a win against the Colts Sunday would bring them back to .500 and give their playoff hopes a little more ballast.

What happens next? We’ll see on Sunday.

But in the meantime, we’ll get you ready for all of this weekend’s action with Penn Sportsbook’s Pick 6,   a rundown of the best games to watch and their corresponding spreads at the state’s sportsbooks.

Here’s what’s on tap this weekend.

Colts at Steelers (+1): 11/3, 1 pm

Pittsburgh is looking for a third-straight win after a slow start that included the season-ending loss of starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. The Steelers trailed winless Miami for long stretches Monday but rebounded thanks to some touchdown passes from backup QB Mason Rudolph. Now, they’re a home underdog against a Colts team that has had to play the entire season without quarterback Andrew Luck. Pittsburgh is -104 on the moneyline at BetRivers Sportsbook. Indianapolis is -118. The game’s over/under is set at 43 points.

Bears at Eagles (-5): 1/3, 1 pm

The Eagles upset the Buffalo Bills last week and look to move above .500 with a win against Chicago. Philadelphia is -240 on the moneyline at Parx Sportsbook. The Bears are +190. The game has a total of 42 points. Parx has a wide range of alternate lines posted from Chicago +18.5 to Philadelphia +8.5. A similar number of alternate over/under numbers are available as well.

Redskins at Bills (-9.5): 1/3, 1 pm

Oddsmakers have listed Buffalo as a significant favorite in Sunday’s game despite a loss last week. Washington lost on Thursday night last week so they enter Sunday’s game with a few extra days of rest. The Redskins are also a team in transition, as rookie Dwayne Haskins continues to start at quarterback. The FanDuel Sportsbook has Buffalo as -430 on the moneyline and Washington at +350. The game’s total is set at 37 points. FanDuel also has bets available on first-quarter and first-half lines, game parlays, and some individual team totals as well.

West Virginia at Baylor (-17.5): 10/31, 8 pm

Baylor is 7-0 and one of college football’s most surprising undefeated teams. FOX Bet has the Bears as -900 on the moneyline in the Halloween showdown with the Mountaineers. West Virginia is +600. The game’s total is set at 56.5. Baylor’s individual team total is set at 37.5. West Virginia’s number is set at 17.5. There likely will be some live betting also available for those looking for some late Halloween action.

Pitt at Georgia Tech (+7.5): 11/2, 4 pm

The Panthers suffered a disappointing loss to Miami last week and will look to rebound against the 2-5 Yellow Jackets. BetRivers has Pitt as -335 on the moneyline. Georgia Tech is +255. The over/under is set at 42.5 points. The Panthers will become bowl eligible with a win on Saturday.

Georgia at Florida (+6.5): 11/2, 3:30 pm

For our last game this week we’re heading south to a game that is nicknamed as the World’s Largest Cocktail Party. Florida and Georgia have been playing almost every year since 1915 at a neutral site in Jacksonville, FL. The team who wins Saturday’s game will remain in the hunt for a berth in the college football playoff. The No. 6-ranked Gators are +185 on the moneyline at FanDuel Sportsbook. No. 8 Georgia is -235. The game’s over/under is set at 44.5. Individual team totals are also available. Florida’s number is posted at 19, whereas Georgia is at 25.5.

If you think you can go 6-0, a parlay of all the Pick 6 games would pay out about $490 on a $10 bet.

Good luck and enjoy the games.
