Pick 6: Penn State And Notre Dame Each Facing Michigan Foes

It’s Land Grant Trophy Week.

If you’ve never heard of it, you’re probably not alone. Penn State and Michigan State meet every year on the football field to decide the winner of the Land Grant Trophy. It’s a little contrived, for sure. But beneath the manufactured rivalry, there’s often a pretty good football game.

And this week, Penn State’s game with Michigan State highlights our Pick 6 feature. Each week here at Penn Sportsbooks, we cover six big games featuring our regional teams and their corresponding spreads at Pennsylvania sportsbooks.

Here’s the rundown for this week:

Penn State at Michigan St. (+6.5): 10/26, 3:30 p.m.

The Nittany Lions won a nail-biter against Michigan last week and now head to East Lansing for what figures to be another close contest. Penn State is -190 on the moneyline at FanDuel Sportsbook. The Spartans are +160. The game’s total is set at 44.5 points. Players can also bet individual team totals in this game. Penn State’s number is set at 25.5 points. Meanwhile, Michigan State has a team total of 19 points. The winner gets the Land Grant trophy and the glory that comes with it.

Miami at Pittsburgh (-6): 10/26, 12 p.m.

“The U” heads into the Steel City to face the Pitt Panthers, who are fresh off a Friday night victory last week against the Syracuse Orangemen. Pitt is -250 on the moneyline at Rivers Sportsbook just a few steps away from Heinz Field. Miami is +200. The game’s over/under is set at 43 points. A number of alternate lines and point totals have also been posted for this game to entice players looking for different numbers.

UCF at Temple (+11): 10/26, 7 p.m.

Central Florida has cooled off after a hot start and now travels north for a Saturday night game against Temple. The Owls are home underdogs in this contest and will return +320 on the moneyline at FOX Bet. The Knights are -400. The game’s over/under is set at 61 points. FOX Bet also has halftime/full-time bets and individual team totals available for betting. Furthermore, there are also a large number of college football games available on the Fox Bet site. Many smaller colleges have betting lines posted there that can’t be found on other sites.

Notre Dame at Michigan (+1): 10/26, 7:30 p.m.

The Fighting Irish, a popular team in the betting world, take on Michigan in the Big House in a game that oddsmakers expect to be extremely close. The Wolverines will be playing in their second-straight Saturday night game, after losing to Penn State on the road last week. Parx Sportsbook has Michigan at -109 on the moneyline. Notre Dame is -110. The game’s point total is posted at 51 points. This game also figures to have some live betting odds on multiple sites shortly after kickoff Saturday night.

Eagles at Bills (-2.5): 10/27, 1 p.m.

The Eagles got shellacked by the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football last week. Their redemption tour takes them into Buffalo, where the Bills have been one of the NFL’s surprise teams this season. Buffalo is -130 on the moneyline at FanDuel Sportsbook. Philadelphia is +114. The game’s total is set at 43.5. As is typical for FanDuel, there are a number of other betting options for this game, including individual team totals, parlay combinations, and first quarter or halftime bets for the less patient players.

Dolphins at Steelers (-14): 10/28, 8:15 p.m.

BetRivers has 80 wagers available for the Monday Night showdown with the winless Dolphins. The Steelers are expected to get quarterback Mason Rudolph back after he missed a game in Los Angeles with a concussion. The Steelers are -770 on the moneyline. The Dolphins are +525. The game’s over/under is set at 43 points. Prop bets with races to certain point totals and touchdown-related bets give players a number of wagering options on this contest. The newly-renovated BetRivers Sportsbook should also get some heavy foot traffic Monday night as the sportsbook is just a few blocks away from the game at Heinz Field. Live betting should also be available at many sites once the game begins.

If you’re feeling lucky, a parlay bet featuring the Pick 6 games would pay out about $475 on a $10 bet.

Good luck and enjoy the games.

It’s Land Grant Week.
