Crosby and Malkin have healthy odds on player futures

If you’d rather bet on an individual player than the entire Penguins team, Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin provide a number of options.

Crosby is +1,100 to be the NHL MVP and +2,300 to be the league’s top goal scorer (the Rocket Richard Trophy). DraftKings also has bets on whether Crosby will have the most points in the NHL regular season (+1,500) or the most assists (+1,100). His odds on being the Penguins’ top goal scorer are obviously much lower (+135).

Malkin would bring an even greater return. He’s +2,000 to be the NHL MVP and +3,500 to be the top goal scorer. Furthermore, he’s +2,700 to lead the league in points and +2,000 to lead the league in assists. His line for leading the Penguins in goals is +250.

Point total, playoffs, round out Penguins betting options

A few other options for Penguins betting involves whether or not Pittsburgh will make the playoffs. The Pens are -240 to be a playoff team and +190 to miss the postseason entirely.

The team’s season point total has also been set at 97.5. The over is at -122, with the under paying +100.

Capitals favored to win the Metropolitan Conference

The Washington Capitals (+275) are the favorites to win the Metropolitan Conference, which is home to both the Penguins and Flyers. The Carolina Hurricanes (+325) are next, followed by the Penguins (+350), NJ Devils (+750), and Flyers (+900).

Expect the odds to fluctuate as the season continues and the wins, losses, goals, and points pile up.
