Pick enough winners and you could pick up a whole bunch of cash.
The entry fee is $150 ($125 before Aug. 15) and there is no vig whatsoever. All the money is going directly into the prize pool, which will grow even bigger if entry fees exceed $500,000.
Here’s how the pick ’em works
During each week of the NFL season, entrants will pick the winners of all Sunday and Monday NFL games. Point spreads do not matter. Just pick the winner.
The best score each week on each site will win $2,500. At the end of the season, the top 500 finishers will earn a payout, with the champion receiving $125,000. Fifth place and higher should pay out $10,000 and above.
There’s also a payout for the biggest loser too. The entrant with the most incorrect picks at the end of the season will earn $2,500.
How to sign up for the NFL contest
Visit BetRivers or PlaySugarHouse and click the link for the $500,000 PA pick ’em. Players must have an active account to enter. Pay the entry fee and you’re in. Multiple entries are permitted with up to 25 allowed on each site. The deadline for entries is September 8th, Week 1 of the NFL season.
Contestants must make their weekly picks via the same website/mobile app that was used to enter the competition. So, if a player entered via PlaySugarHouse, he/she must enter the weekly picks at PlaySugarHouse as well.
Pick ’em adds to a full menu of betting options
The NFL season kicks off on Sept. 5 with the Chicago Bears (-3.5) hosting the Green Bay Packers.
But that game is only the beginning. This season promises to offer a lengthy list of options for sports bettors.
Put simply; there’s plenty of action in Pennsylvania for those who are seeking it.
“We are really excited about the upcoming NFL season and know our players are, too,” Richard Schwartz, president of Rush Street Interactive, said. “We wanted to make this season even more thrilling for football fans by creating a pick ’em game where huge cash prizes will be won. This innovative contest gives our players a fun way to get in on all the exhilarating sports betting action.”
