Fox Bet Sportsbook Goes On Air Days Before NFL Football Does

Fox Bet Sportsbook launched its online sports betting app in Pennsylvania using Mount Airy Casino’s sports betting license.

Fox Bet joins four sportsbooks already online in Pennsylvania.

SugarHouse and Rivers top the online and retail revenue numbers in PA, followed by FanDuel.

Fox Bet and their partner, The Stars Group, (TSG)  launched the  app in  PA just days after launching in NJ. The partnership of Fox and Stars came together just three months ago.

Fox Bet live in NJ and PA

Over the weekend, Fox Bet launched in New Jersey. The Garden State launch was a little simpler, as it was just a rebrand of the existing BetStarsNJ product. There are plans to offer a free-to-play Fox Bet app nationwide soon as well. With the expansion of online gambling, expect to see the app soon launch in additional states.

While starting a PA online sportsbook before a retail book is unusual, this means Fox Bet’s online operation should be fully ready for the opening NFL Sunday slate on Sept. 8.

Fox Sports will broadcast 110 regular-season games as well as the culminating Super Bowl.

Fox Bet relying on  its name and personalities

Fox Bet is using a host of network personalities and promotions to launch the gambling site. Fox’s parent company, News Corp., used a similar strategy when developing Sky Bet in Europe. The sportsbook shares a name with popular sports network Sky Sport in Britain. Not coincidentally, The Stars Group now owns the Sky Sport brand.

Fox just launched a full-time sports gambling show on the iHeart Radio app at 102.5 FM and 1480 AM in the Philadelphia market.

Apps available, as are bonuses

The site is accessible on your computer browser. There is an app for Android and there is an iOS app in the Apple App Store for iPads and iPhones as well.

There are two bonus offers for new players.

One is a sign-up bonus of $20 with no code required which will drop $20 in your account.

On top of that, you can sign up for a $100 deposit-match bonus.

One unique feature is the possibility of making a custom bet of your choosing. Using the term #CustomBet, customers can tweet @FoxBet.

If the sportsbook likes the bet, they’ll add the wager to their betting menu.
