PSB Pick Play: Can DJ Do It Again? Dustin Johnson Favored In Masters Odds At PA Betting Apps

Can he really do it again?

Dustin Johnson won last year’s Masters tournament after the COVID pandemic forced it to be played in the fall.

Now, it’s back to its normal spot in April. A tradition that helps to signal the arrival of spring.

And Johnson is once again the favorite at Augusta, in the Masters Tournament that will be held April 8 – 11

FOX Bet Sportsbook has Johnson at +800 to win the Masters. And if he were to succeed, it would be an especially impressive feat to capture the prestigious tournament twice within the span of five months.

In this week’s installment of Penn Sportsbooks Pick Play, we’ll cover all the odds for the Master’s Tournament that tees off next Thursday, including Johnson’s chances to do it again.

Next week’s Masters field will be full of superstars

This week, the PGA Tour is in San Antonio for the Valero Texas Open. Some of golf’s biggest names have skipped the event, but everyone will be back in the field next week.

In November, Johnson dominated the Masters course en route to a final score of 20-under par. DJ is one of the players who decided to skip the Texas Open this week and instead focus on the upcoming major. He’s the favorite to repeat at +800, but few expect that the winning score will be quite as low this time around. Augusta’s course conditions in November were extremely favorable for the players.

The rest of the top 25 favorites in Masters futures are as follows:

  • Bryson DeChambeau: +1000
  • Jon Rahn: +1000
  • Justin Thomas: +1100
  • Jordan Spieth: +1200
  • Rory McIlroy: +1200
  • Xander Schauffele: +2000
  • Brooks Koepka: +2200
  • Patrick Cantlay: +2200
  • Collin Morikawa: +2500
  • Patrick Reed: +2500
  • Tony Finau: +2500
  • Lee Westwood: +3000
  • Daniel Berger: +3300
  • Hideki Matsuyama: +3300
  • Tyrrell Hatton: +3300
  • Viktor Hovland: +3300
  • Webb Simpson: +3300
